At Constructive Thinking our team are at the heart of everything we do. We run a lean operation, where everyone’s strengths are exploited through roles which suit their individual talents. The key members of Constructive Thinking are:

Jon Moorhouse

Jon Moorhouse

BA (Hons) Dip. Arch. RIBA FHEA – Director

Jon is Director of Research and Development for the practice.  He believes that innovation should drive high quality sustainable design.  As the main initiator of projects,  Jon ensures that our clients benefit from the best of cutting edge design advice that is tailored to each client’s individual needs.  Outside the studio, Jon teaches Professional Practice at the University of Huddersfield.  He is a committed ultra runner and Ironman.

Hannah Moorhouse

Hannah Moorhouse

BSc (Hons) Cert. Mgmt. – Director & Practice Manager

Hannah oversees the day to day running of the office, including scheduling and programming of work and finance. Outside work she has an in depth first hand experience of the self build process and enjoys baking, growing and taking part in the odd triathlon and running event.

Stuart Clark

BA (Hons) Dip. Arch. ARB – Director

Stuart is the Architectural Director and BIM manager within the practice. He's responsible for overseeing all of the office output to ensure quality and consistency. He's the go-to team member for all things BIM and has developed most of the automated workflow within the practice. Outside work his interests are a diverse mix of Real Ale, DIY, Bread Making, Watching Alternative Comedy and Techno.

Nick Wilde

BA (Hons) BArch RIBA ARB - Senior Architect

Nick is Senior Architect in the practice. As lead architect he is involved in all aspects of projects, from early feasibility to their completion on site. An early career in aircraft industries has influenced his approach to design and use of materials, always seeking bespoke solutions through a graceful distillation of the design process. Outside of practice Nick teaches design at the Liverpool School of Architecture and is dedicated to keeping a 50 year old Lambretta on the road.

Damian Keeley

Senior Architect

Damian is a senior project architect with a great deal of experience within the housing sector. Throughout the last 15 years Damian has worked with an increasing number of RSLs and Homes England funded projects, from extra care projects, to general needs and more specialist wheelchair housing. He has wide ranging experience of the procurement process, from brief development and testing, through to feasibility and site appraisals, developed design, approvals, tender and contract administration that pairs well with our wide range of clientele – from one off house builders to larger property developments that benefit from urban design. Extra Curricular activities include RC car racing and Automotive Design, Tech and IT, messing around with 3D CAD models, and experimenting with emerging visualisation techniques.

Yashna Calleechurn

Stage 1 Architectural Assistant

Yashna is Stage I Architectural Assistant. She recently graduated from the University of Liverpool in School of Architecture, and is hoping to go on to study her Masters, and eventually become an architect. Yashna has gained her experience in both commercial and residential projects, and now seeks to develop her interest in detail and integrated technology further. Outside the studio, Yashna enjoys drawing, travelling with friends and family, and often spends weekends surf watching in Wales.

Gonzalo Vaquero de Wenetz

Stage 2 Architectural Assistant

Gonzalo is a final year architecture student working as an Architectural Assistant. Passionate about architecture, he carries out a wide range of works assisting senior architects within the practice. Outside work, he loves sports, specially Skiing, Dog Walking, Zermatt, and travelling by motorbike, which he does as often as possible.
